DEMEAN DANGER DERAIL = River Oaks
They admitted me under false pretenses. I did not know River Oaks was a "lock up" place. The friend who brought me there didn't know that either. We told them this. I wasn't going to harm myself, I was LITERALLY trying to find a doctor to talk to about medication/insurance. THEY WERE TOLD THIS OVER AND OVER. They ignored every single word I said and admitted me to fill a bed. They outright lied to me and to my friend.
A MAN IN ANOTHER BUILDING ADMITTED ME SIGHT UNSEEN, because some employee talked to him about me and I wasn't even there to know if she was telling the truth.
They didn't "treat" me for anything, but they treated me with zero humanity.
October 24 2023 - I had no intention of taking my life, but River Oaks went ahead and did it for me.
If you want to live DO NOT GO TO RIVER OAKS.
If they did to you even a fraction of what they did to me - GET A LAWYER ASAP!
People know what a dangerous, unethical, and heartless place it can be.
